The payment gateway is the key system within Card Gate Plus. A payment gateway is also called 'payment platform' or 'online cash register'.

The payment gateway is an important component in the online payment process. It handles the communication between webshops and financial institutions. By using a payment gateway you can avoid dealing with issues such as security of transactions and obtaining and maintaining certain certifications. You can focus yourself on your core business: selling online.

Our payment gateway is yearly checked and certified by an independent party. This certification is called "PCI Compliance". Furthermore, our technical platform is daily checked by an external party to monitor and directly notify us of new vulnerabilities and threats.

During the development of our payment gateway, we have not been focusing on a single payment method. The gateway is developed to process multiple payment methods. We can easily add new payment methods via modules to the platform. Our payment platform is processing Credit Card, Maestro, iDEAL payments and more.

If you are using or want to use payment methods which have not yet been integrated in our platform, then we will research the possibilities to integrate them.

Antwoord Yes. Besides the solution to redirect your customers to our system for processing a transaction we also have an API (Application Programming Interface). Your system can communicate with our API so you will be able to process transactions on your own website. Additional requirements are connected to this service.
